Ok, I'm sure everyone has seen the Tim McGraw news on tv, if not here's a link...

The concert was great....and a little drama made it even more exciting. I'm not sure if the drama had anything to do with the song being Indian Outlaw, since we were on the reservation, but when he started singing it I had a bad feeling and told Biz it wasn't a good idea.
Tim started out the night in a leather button up shirt, but soon came to realize that wasn't a good choice and ran back stage and changed into a 'wife beater', gotta love that.
Des and I had a great time. The kids stayed with Nicole, and with the help of Kyle and Ericd they had a smooth night as well. It was a nice little get away, and I even got to shop at some real stores for once. We are glad to be home though....

Our Rockstar in training
He just may be the next American Idol.....
He loves his guitars, and his brothers guitars, but now he's discovered the microphone and boy can this boy sing. He sings about his Mommy, Daddy, Kyle, Eric, and Emmy. Maybe we'll try out some drums next........

Picture Day
Friday Emmy turned 5 Months old. I've been excited to get her 5 month picture to complete our collage frame since before she was born. Brad suggested I get Cade's pictures taken as well, since it's been awhile since we've taken him in, and we need one of all those curls in case they don't come back after his haircut.
Our options are so limited here that I ended up going to Sears. I thought the babies would cooperate more if the drive was short. So my appointment was at 3, we get there about 8 minutes til. I wait around a bit and then the lady taking pictures peeks her head out and asks if I have an appointment and tells me it's going to be about 20 minutes. I'm irritated, as Cade is already getting restless. I was thinking someone must be on a break or something, but that wasn't the case. They had one person scheduled to take pictures, answer the phone and help the people picking up their pictures, to which you don't need an appointment so they walk in a lot. So she finished the sessions she was doing, edits them, puts them on the computer and does her sales pitch to that mommy. It's well past the 20 minutes, when we finally get called back. So we get Cade positioned and the phone rings, then people come to pick up more pictures, so we wait and wait. At this point I'm seriously considering walking out, but she comes in and starts the photos, the phone rings and she talks on the phone, personal call I think, while she's taking Cade's picture. She is relying on me to get him to smile and she just clicks. The phone ringing and the people coming in continue throughout both babies getting their pictures. I think she spent more time out of that picture room than she spent taking their pictures.
Thankfully we ended up with a few good ones. After over an hour and a half I am finally ready to leave with my kids. I've realized that next time taking the drive to Seattle or TriCities is probably not a bad idea. Warning to anyone here, do not go to Sears portraits in Union Gap!
Oh and I can't forget to add, while I'm sitting there at 4:30, another employee comes in, with her young daughter, calls someone who had an appointment at 5 and tells them they have to cancel because there are two appointments booked for 5 and they can only do one. 30 minutes before she was scheduled to be there.

Ok I'm done griping now. Thanks for listening.
